You know when you keep stubbing your toe on the corner of your bed in the same spot every single morning? Or when you push your luck and don’t pay for parking for those two extra minutes and then end up getting a ticket as you’re running out to your car?
Yeah — me too.
Those things suck. I can’t help you out with that, but I can help you out with a lot of other stuff.
I can and will help you reach the right people at the right time, while keeping your messaging on brand.
I am a creative problem solver. I am a writer and designer. And I am obsessed with events, branding, and influencer marketing. I also like to write in groups of three.
I write to evoke emotion and to persuade audiences. I love meeting, researching and learning about people.
I like to know what they like, what they don’t like, and then use that to determine my messaging.
Whether it’s executing an event, writing a communications strategy or a social media plan, designing a brochure about ice cream, or a homemade birthday card for my Mom, I’m always using strategy and a sense of humour (when acceptable — of course.)
After a year of “finding myself” in Australia, I studied Rhetoric and Communications at The University of Winnipeg, specializing in human relations. Following that, I earned myself a Creative Communications Diploma specializing in public relations. Through my studies, I learned that I am fascinated by people and the psychology behind their decisions.
I’m still intrigued by the sociology behind why my guilty pleasure is scrolling Twitter learning about the most niche pop culture drama — let me know if you have the answer.
I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba. That city smack dab in the middle of Canada. Winnipeg is my big little town, but I am always looking for my next adventure, which is why I lived in Paris, France for two years. I now live in Toronto. I’d love to work with you regardless of where you call home.
